Change Inc., a multiservice community agency, will hold community elections Saturday to name 15 persons to its 29-member board of directors. The new board members will serve terms of one to three years and will help make policy decisions affecting programing and spending.

Northwest residents living in census tracts 27 through 32 and census tract 39 are eligible to vote. The census areas are bounded roughly by Harvard Street, Spring Road, Rock Creek Park and Soldiers Home, said Erskine Chambers, director of program development.

Residents at least 18 years old are eligible to vote. The seven polling places, which will be open from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m., are Park Morton Center, 620 Morton St. NW; Youth Center, 725 Park rd. NW; the Harvard Campus of the Univesity of the District of Columbia, 11th and Harvard streets NW; the Kenesaw Building, 3060 16the St. NW; Barney House, 17the Street and Ontario Road NW; Change Inc., 3308 14th ST. NW, and the Mental Health Center, 1120 Spring Rd. NW.

Established in 1966, Change Inc., provides services that include food programs for the elderly, senior citizen centers, consumer self-help programs, clothing banks, tenant counseling and youth services. The programs are funded by federal and local government grants.
