Age 55, of Roanoke and Richmond, died November 20, 1978, in MCV Hospital, she was the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Oscar Reed Corbin, of Roanoke, Va., and is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Fred A. (Elsie Tanner of) of Roanoke, and Mrs. John A. Mildred Ramsey, of Ivor, Va. Also is survived by five nephews, two nieces, a great-niece and a greatnephew. Miss Corbin was a member of the disciples of Christ Church in Danville, Va., after graduating from Richmond College, she received a Bachelors Degree from Virginia Commonwealth Univ., and was a member of the American Association of University women, she recently retired from the Virginia Commission for the visually handicapped having worked throughout the state as a rehabilitation teacher and the State coordinator of Eye Health Services. Funeral services, will be at 1:30 p.m., Friday, at Oakey Downtown Chapel, officiating by the Rev. John W. Johnson of Lynchburg with Interment in Sherwood Cemetery.
