Donna Middleton Turner, 32, an administrator at the Baltimore Social Security Center and a Washington resident all of her life, died at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore on Friday of stab wounds she received when two men held her up, Baltimore police said.

Police said the attack occurred about 5:15 p.m. after Mrs. Turner had left the center and was going to her automobile. she died about two hours later.

Mrs. Turner was born in Washington and graduated from St. Anthony's Shigh School. She graduated from Catholic University in 1968 with a degree in speecvh therapy and then earned a master's degree in audiology at Northwestern University.

She worked for the American Speech and Hearing Association in Washington after finishing her studies at Northwestern. She later worked at Walte Reed Army Medial Center, at the National Institutes of Health, and at the old Office of Telecommunications Policy before joining the Social Security Administration

Survivors include her husband, Craig F. Turner, of the home in Washington; her mother, Jewell Brooks Middleton, of Chevy Chase; her father, James A. Middleton, of St. Mary's County; a brother, Gardiner Middleton, of Washington, and grandmother, Hallie M. Brooks, of Durham, N.C.
