Paul E. Grimm, 56, of Bull Hill rd., Marlborough, Conn., died Saturday, December 23, in Ahwaz, Iran. Born in Denver, Colo., he lived in Iran for the past two years. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a graduate of the University Of Colorado where he received his mechanical engineering degree. He has worked for Texaco Inc. for the past two years and was presently serving with the Oil Service Company of Iran as general manager of operations. He was a member of the professional engineers of colorado. He leaves his wife Byrdine Laird Grimm; a son Paul Russell Grimm of Marlborough; two daughters Tobi Dean Craig of Louisana and Becky Lea Grimm of Marlborough; his mother, Mrs. A. H. Roy Grimm of Denver, Colo.; a brother, John R. Grimm, also of Denver; a grandson, Kevin Blanecralf of Louisana. Funeral service will be held Thursday, December 28, at 1 p.m. in Emmanuel Luthern Church, 311 Capitol ave., Hartford, with burial in Mariborough Cemetery, Marlborough, Conn. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contribution may be made to the Quarterback Club, care of Slippery Rock State College, Slippery Rock, Pa. The Glastonbury Funeral Home, 450 New London Turnpike, Glastonbury, is in charge of arrangements.
