Wynn Jack Kal, 51, an official of Feldman & Company, a Washington wholesale grocery firm, who was active in charitable organizations, died Saturday at George Washington University Hospital. He had a heart ailment.
For the past 15 years he had been an active member of the Hexagon Club in Washington and wrote, produced, and acted in productions the club put on to raise money for area charities. He also was a past president of the Amity Club.
Mr. Kal was a native of Washington and a graduate of the University of Maryland. He worked as building contractor before joining the advertising firm of Kal, Merrick & Salan in the early 1960s, where he became a vice president. He joined the Feldmn company three years ago and had been sales, director, public relations director, and administrative assistant to the president of the company.
His marriages to Barbara Ruben Wishoff and Paula Dawson Hodges ended in divorce.
Mr. Kal is survived by three daughters, Debrah Levi, of Alexandria, and Nancy R. and Linda R. Kal, both of Pompano Beach, Fla., and a sister, Niki Haas, of Shreveport, La.
