Montgomery and Prince George's counties are operating nutrition programs for senior citizens. Lunches are served Monday through Friday at eight sites in Montgomery County and 15 sites in Prince George's County.
There is no charge in either county, although donations are accepted. In Montgomery County, a 75-cent contribution is suggested. In Prince George's County, persons may contribute whatever they are able in unmarked envelopes provided at the sites.

Following are lunch menus for the coming week. Milk, tea, coffee and butter are served with all meals. Montgomery County
Monday: Salisbury steak, whipped potatoes, mixed vegetables, pineapple ring on lettuce cup, ice cream.
Tuesday: Roast beef au jus, baked potato, broccoli, roll, peach crisp.
Wednesday: Oven-fried chicken, corn pudding, coleslaw, cheese biscuit, fresh fruit.
Thursday: Vegetable soup, steak and cheese sandwich, lettuce and tomato, ice cream.
Friday: Macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes, spinach salad, French bread, fruit cup. Prince George's County
Monday: Orange juice, chicken cacciatore, potatoes, carrots, corn muffin, fruit cocktail.
Tuesday: Cucumber and onions with dressing, beef liver and onions, rice, peas, sesame roll, apple.
Wednesday: Salad, roast pork, corn pudding, collards, rye bread, apricot whip.
Thursday: Tomato juice, meat loaf, cauliflower, green benas, whole wheat bread, pears.
Friday: Vegetable soup, lasagna, spinach, roll, peanut butter brownie.
