The deadline for registering to vote in the June 10 Republican primary is Saturday. In the primary, voters will choose party nominees for the 8th and 10th congressional districts.

Voters wishing to transfer their registration from one Virginia county or city to their present place of residence must do so by that date.

The following is a list of times and places for voter registration:

Alexandria: Today and tommorrow, City Hall, 125 N Royal St., 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Burke Library, 4701 Seminary Rd., Duncan Library, 2501 Commonwealth Ave. and No. 8 Fire House, 175 N. Paxton St., 6 to 9 p.m.

Saturday, all locations, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For information, call the Registrar's office at 750-6000.

Arlington: Today and tomorrow, the Registrar's office, Court House, room 130, 1400 N. Court House Rd., 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and any branch library, 7 to 9 p.m.

Saturday, Registrar's office, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., all branch libraries, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the Central Library, Fairfax and Quincy streets, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For information, call the Registrar's office at 558-2345.

Fairfax County: Today and tomorrow, Registrar's office, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at libraries with evening hours, 7 and 9 p.m. and the lobby of the Massey Building, 4100 Chain Bridge Road, Fairfax, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at all county libraries, at Burke, Chantilly, Gunston and Great Falls Fire Stations, and the General Registrar's office. For information, call the Registrar's office, at 385-8100.

The deadline for in-person absentee voting for the primary is June 7. The following localities will hold special hours for in-person voting:
