Metro will implement bus schedule changes Sunday and Monday affecting several lines in the District. Here are the routes:
Anacostia-Congress Heights Line Routes A1, A2, A6 and A8 will be changed to operate as follows:
NORTHBOUND -- Present route to M and 11th streets SE then west on M Street, right on cut-off road to South Capitol Street, north on South Capitol Street, left on Canal Street and present route.
SOUTHBOUND -- Present route to Canal and South Capitol streets, then right on South Capitol Street, right on cut-off road to M Street, left on M Street, right on 11th Street and present route.
Routes A3, A4 and A4(/) will be changed to operate as follows:
NORTHBOUND -- All Potomac Park trips formerly scheduled to originate at Fort Drum or Bellevue and designated Route A1 will change designations to Route A3.No other changes in routing will take place. Routes A4 and A4(/) will remain the same.
SOUTHBOUND -- Routes A4 and A4(/) will reamin the same. Weekday, Saturday and Sunday schedules will be changed on each route. Number of trips will remain the same.
Route G2 (P Street-LeDroit Park Line).Sunday trips will operate every 25 minutes instead of every 20 minutes.
Route W2 (Washington Overlook Shuttle). The last two trips in the morning will be eliminated beginning Monday.
Routes 30, 32, 34, and 36 (Pennsylvania Avenue Line). New weekday schedules will take effect Monday. Number of trips will remain the same.
Routes 38A, 38B, and 38E (Ballston-Union Station-Visitor Center Line.) New weekday schedules will take effect beginning Monday. Midday service will operate every 20 minutes instead of every 15 minutes.
Routes 70, 71, 73. New Weekday schedules will take effect Monday. Number of trips will remain the same.
