WARREN BURKE SHEPARD, son of Foreign Officer and Mrs. William Shepard, died June 16, 1980, of pulminary hepititis in Wiesbaden, Federal Republic of Germany. Warren was born in Singapore May 5, 1966, and traveled with his parents to posts in Asia and Europe. He had attended the British Embassy School in Budapest, Hungary; was a graduate of Beverly Farms Elementary School, Potomac, Md., where he had participated in the program for gifted children. In June 1980, he graduated from Middle School of the American Community School, Halandri, Greece, where he had been elected president of the Student Council. He was looking forward to entering Phillips Exeter Academy this fall. Funeral services will be held June 22, 2 p.m. at Fred A. SMART MEMORIAL CHAPEL, Tilton School, Tilton, N.H., with interment in the family plot; Franklin, N.H. A special Memorial Service will be held in Washington Saturday, June 28, 11 a.m., at Bethlehem Chapel of National Cathedral. Besides his mother and father, Warren leaves two sisters, Cynthia Robin and Stephanie; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robinson Shepard of Franklin and Mrs. Irving Stannard of Farmingham, Conn. The family suggests contributions be sent to Headmaster, Phillips Exeter Academy, Exeter, N.H., where a fund will be established in Warren's name.
