Antoinett C. Ayoub, 67 a resident of Washington area since 1933 and a partner in the Hanna Ayoub Rug Co., died at Sibley Memorial Hospital Sunday of a cerebral hemorrhage.
Mrs. Ayoub was born in Philadelphiaand grew up in Camden, N.J. after moving to this area, she went to work inthe rug business with John J. Ayoub, whom she married in 1937. She remained active in the firm until her death.
In recent years, Mrs. Ayoub and her husband had spent some of their time at a vacation home in Rehoboth Beach, Del. They lived in Washington.
Mrs. Ayoub was a former president of the Ramella Women's Club of Washington. She also was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church here.
In addition to her husband, survivorsinclude sons, John J. Jr., of Gaitherburg, Richard J. and Raphael J., both of Bethesda, and James J. of Kensington; four sisters, Mary Campanoaro, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Carmelita Zelly, of Crofton, Md., Philomena Avenosa, of Takoma Park, and Rita Kessler, of Arlington; three brothers, Joseph Adinolfi, of Camden, N.J., Matthew Adinolfi, of Chiltum, and Johnny Adinolfi, of Stafford, Va., and six grandchildren.
