Regular meetings of the Board of Education are held the third Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the 12th floor board room of the Presidential Building, 415 12th St. NW.
A community meeting is held the first Wednesday of each month, from October through May, in one of the wards. All board and committee meetings and hearings are open to the public.
The board publishes notices of these events and summaries of the actions taken at regular monthly meetings. Call 724-4289 or 724-4290 to be placed on a mailing list, to register to speak at a meeting or to contact your ward representative on the board.
