Maryland voters will go to the polls on Tuesday to cast ballots for President and Vice President, U.S. Senator and members of the House of Representatives.
The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
In Montgomery and Prince George's, voters also will elect members of the county school boards.
In Montgomery, six candidates are seeking three school board seats in a county-wide election.
In Prince George's, there will be contests for school board seats in the 1st, 3rd and 9th school districts. Candidates will run unopposed in the 4th, 6th and 7th school districts.
Maryland voters also will be asked to help decide on a series of state and local ballot questions.
All voters will be asked to vote on five state constitutional questions.
Montgomery voters will be asked to vote "for" or "against" four charte amendments proposed by the county council and two questions brought to the ballot by petition.
Prince George's voters will be asked for decisions on 14 ballot questions, including six proposed bond issues. Three other questions concern the size of the county council and the method for electing its members.
In Montgomery County, punchcard ballots will replace voting machines as the county converts to a system called Datavote.
