Voters in Northern Virginia will go to the polls Tuesday to cast ballots for President and Vice President and to vote for Members of Congress from the 8th and 10th Congressional Districts.

The polls will be open for the Nov. 4 election from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Arlington voters, meanwhile, will elect a member of the County Board wile voters in Loudoun and Prince William counties will vote for directors of their local Soil and Water Conservation districts.

Northern Virginia voters will be asked to decide on a series of ballot questions.

Voters throughout Virginia will be asked to vote on four state constitutional amendments. Fairfax voters will be asked to vote "for" or "against" five proposed bond issues. Arlington voters will have one question while Reston voters will be asked to decide whether their community should incorporate and become a town.

Virginia residents are eligible to vote if they were registered by the Oct. 4 deadline or if they have voted during the last four years and have informed the General Registrar of any change of address.

Absentee voters have until this Saturday to cast ballots in person. Some voters are eligible to cast mail-in absentee ballots; the deadline for requesting mail-in ballots is today. For more information on absentee voting, see Page 5.
