The nearly nude body of a missing Prince George's County woman was found yesterday on the floor of her parked car in the 800 block of Buchanan Street NE, D.C. police reported.

Police said the woman, identified as Michelle Moore, 26, of 4712 St. Barnabas Rd., Hillcrest Heights, died of multiple stab wounds to the body, and apparently had been killed two or three days ago. The body, clad only in undergarments and stretched out on the floor of the car between the front and back seats, was discovered about 5 p.m. by a passerby, police said.

Moore, the manager of a carryout restaurant at 14th Street and Rhode Island Avenue NW, was reported missing by her boyfriend on Sunday, police said. They said she last was seen by acquaintances at the restaurant the night before.

With the body still inside, the woman's 1980-model compact car was towed last night to police headquarters where an assistant medical examiner and police technicians were examining it for evidence.

Investigators said they had discovered no motive for the slaying and had no suspects. An autopsy and tests to determine whether the woman was sexually assaulted will be conducted today.
