Several Kwanzaa events to be held in Washington during the coming week were omitted from a story appearing in today's District and Maryland weeklies. The full schedule is as follows:

Friday, Dec. 26: Umoja day will be celebrated at 8 p.m. at the Watoto Shule school, 770 Park Rd. NW.

Saturday, Dec. 27: Also at Watoto Shule, a Children's Party will be held between 3-6 p.m., followed by a Kujichagulia day in celebration at 8 p.m.

Sunday, Dec. 28: Ujima day will be celebrated at Calvary Methodist Church, 15th Street and Columbia Road NW at 8 p.m.

Monday, Dec. 29: Ujamaa day will be celebrated at 8 p.m. at Ujamaa Shule school, 8th and Q streets NW. Also, there will be a festival between 5 and 9 p.m. at the Sun Gallery, 2324 18th St. NW. Guests should bring food to share.

Tuesday, Dec. 30: Nia day will be celebrated at 8 p.m. at the Community Warehouse, 2010 Kendall St. NE. Guests should bring natural food dishes to share.

Wednesday, Dec. 31: Kuumba day will be celebrated with a feast at 8 p.m. at the Community Warehouse, 2010 Kendall St. NE. Interested persons are urged to bring natural food dishes to share.

Thursday, Jan. 1: Imani day will be celebrated from 3 to 8 p.m. at 1512 Crittenden St. NW.
