On Sunday, January 4, 1981, at his residence, IRVIN SINGLETARY of 6219 7th pl. nw., beloved husband of Mrs. Dollie L. Singletary; stepfather of Willie L. Beal; grandfather of Norman Beal. Also survived by one great-grandson, Kobie N. Beal; 11 sisters, Nancy Cooper, Janie Gamble, Eula Wallace, Mary Murry, all of Kingstree, S.C., Margarite and Pearle Singletary, Mary W. Woodward and Lottie Duke, all of Washington, D.C., Jimmie Salters and Flossie Singletary of New Haven, Conn., and Melinese Burroughs of Baltimore, Md.; five brothers, Wilbur and Robert Singletary of Washington, D.C., and Charlie and A. J. Singletary of Kingstree, S.C. and Samuel J. Singletary of Springfield, Ohio; four uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The late Mr. Singletary will lie in state from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, January 7, in John Wesley AME Zion Church, 14th and Corcoran st. nw., where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 8, the Reverend G.
