The Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library and all branches of the D.C. Public Library will have new summer hours beginning Tuesday, May 26.
The main library will be open at 9 a.m. Monday through Saturday, closing at 9 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays and at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The Children's Division will also open at 9 a.m. daily except Sunday, closing at 6 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays and at 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped will be open from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The Capitol View, Cleveland Park, Northeast, Petworth, Southwest, Penley-Friendship, Watha T. Daniel and West End branches will be open from 1 to 9 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays and 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
The Anacostia, Benning, Mt. Pleasant, Palisades, Southeast, Takoma Park and Washington Highlands branches will be open from 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and 9:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
The Chevy Chase, Georgetown, Fort Davis and Woodbridge branches will be open from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays and 9:30 a.m. until 5:30 Tuesdays, Wednesday and Fridays.
The Wilkinson Branch Library will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Langston, R.L. Christian, Sursum Corda, Trinidad, Deanwood and Parklands will be open from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
All branch libraries will be closed on Saturdays. All libraries are closes on Sundays.
