We ran the full pay table for white-collar federal workers in the Tuesday paper. Here are the October pay schedules for FS personnel. As with white-collar workers, FS pay is "capped" at a maximum $50,112.50. So even if the table shows a higher amount is due, the actual amount received cannot exceed $50,112.50. Here goes:

Foreign Service Staff: Class 1, $46,685 to $55,744; Class 2, $37,629 to $45,170; Class 3, $30,653 to $36,601; Class 4, $24,838 to $29,658; Class 5, $20,126 to $24,031; Class 6, $17,992 to $21,483; Class 7, $16,084 to $19,205; Class 8, $14,379 to $17,169 and Class 9, $12,854 to $15,348.

Foreign Service Officers: Class 1, $57,417 to $60,689; Class 2, $46,525 to $55,553; Class 3, $37,699 to $45,015; Class 4, $30,548 to $36,475; Class 5, $24,752 to $29,556; Class 6, $22,128 to $26,422; Class 7, $19,781 to $23,630; Class 8, $17,684 to $21,116 and Class 9, $15,809 to $18,877.

Remember, despite what those figures show, the maximum pay is $50,112.50.
