Charles B. Carroll, 57, the manager of Frazier's Funeral Home in Washington, died Monday at Providence Hospital after a heart attack. He lived in Washington.
Mr. Carroll was a native of Cecilton, Md. He moved to Washington in the early 1940s and joined Frazier's as an apprentice funeral director in 1948. He was appointed manager in 1960.
Mr. Carroll was a member of the Independent Funeral Directors Association here, the National Funeral Directors and Morticians Association. He also was a Mason and a member of Felix Lodge No. 3 in Washington.
His marriage to Audrey Carroll ended in divorce.
Survivors include his wife, Valda I., of Washington; three daughters by his first marriage, Lonise C. Harrison of Capitol Heights, and Leslie A. Carroll and Vicki L. Carroll, both of Hyattsville; a son by his first marriage, Charles B. Jr. of Langley Park; three other children, Yvonne Lyles of New Rochelle, N.Y., and Walter and George Carroll, both of Maryland; a stepdaughter, Olivet Hamilton of Washington; a stepson, Lloyd Chin of Jamaica; three sisters, Dottie Carter of Delaware, and Shirley Hollingsworth and Doris Carroll, both of Cecilton; five brothers, Leroy of Washington, William of Virginia, John of New York City, and Tony and James, both of Philadelphia, and six grandchildren.
