Equal Rights Amendment. Killed in House committee and on the Senate floor. Court efforts are under way to declare the majority 20-19 Senate vote as constituting passage.
Legislative conflict of interest. Passed Senate, before House committee.
State budget of $13.1 billion for 1982-84. Passed House, before Senate committee.
Medicaid abortion funds. Passed both houses.
Coal severance tax. Withdrawn.
Public employe bargaining. Killed in Senate committee.
Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. Passed Senate, before House committee.
Returnable beverage containers. Killed in Senate committee.
Tougher drunken-driving laws. Separate versions have passed both House and Senate. Probably will go to committee of conference.
Abolishment of jury sentencing. Killed in Senate committee.
Property tax break for small car owners. Passed Senate, killed in House committee.
Allow counties to levy 5 percent restaurant tax. Passed Senate, killed in House committee.
Annual automobile inspections. Separate versions have passed both House and Senate.
Abolishment of governor's cabinet system. Killed in House.
Two-year probation for new public school teachers. Passed House, in Senate committee.
