The Montgomery County Health Department is offering free influenza immunization clinics for low- and moderate-income senior citizens and other high risk adults.

The clinics will be held in the following locations:

Bethesda-Silver Spring-Takoma Park: Elizabeth House Apartments, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. today; Forest Glen Senior Center, 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday; Waverly House Apartments, 1 to 2 p.m. Friday; Lakeview House Apartments, 9 to 10:30 a.m. Oct. 7; Chelsea Tower Apartments, 10:30 a.m. to noon Oct. 7; and Silver Spring Health Center, 8641 Colesville Rd., Room 411, 10 to 11 a.m. Oct. 13.

Wheaton-Kensington: Wheaton Senior Center, 10 to 11 a.m. today; Rebecca House Apartments, 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. next Wednesday; Rock Creek Terrace Apartments, 2 to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 6; and Wheaton Health Center, 2424 Reedie Dr., 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 15. Olney-Sandy Spring: Ross Boddy Community Center, 10:30 a.m. to noon Monday; Holly Hall Apartments, 9 to 11 a.m. Oct. 4; and Northeast Health Center, 14015 New Hampshire Ave., 8 to 10 a.m. Oct. 18.

Rockville: Bethany House Apartments, 9 to 11 a.m. Sept. 30; Heritage House Apartments, 9 to 11 a.m. Oct. 4; Town Center Apartments, 9 to 11 a.m. Oct. 5; Rock Creek Terrace Apartments, 2 to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 6; Maryvale School, 1 to 2 p.m. Oct. 8; Revitz House Apartments, 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 12; Shady Grove Apartments, 9 to 10:30 a.m. Oct. 14; Rockville Senior Center, 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 15; and Rockville Health Center, 50 Monroe St., 9 to 11 a.m. Oct. 25.

Gaithersburg-Poolesville-Damascus: Londonderry Tower Apartments, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday; Gaithersburg High School, 1:30 to 2 p.m. Friday; St. Anne's Episcopal Church, 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday; Forest Oak Towers, 11 a.m. to noon Sept. 30; Poolesville Health Center, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Oct. 5; Shady Grove Apartments, 9 to 10:30 a.m. Oct. 14; and Gaithersburg Health Center, 542 N. Frederick Ave., 1 to 3 p.m. Oct. 8 and 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 21.

The Health Department recommends persons wishing to be innoculated check with their physician before going to the clinics. The vaccine will not be administered to people with certain illnesses or allergies. For more information, call the Adult Health Program at 279-1240.
