Christmas gifts for the mentally ill at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, in foster care homes and in day-treatment programs of mental health centers are being collected by the Mental Health Association of the District.

Gifts should be new and individually wrapped and tagged, stating contents, size, and age and sex of the recipient. Suggested items include large clothing, men's and women's toiletries, scarves, hats, games, candy and stationery.
