Summer hours for the Martin Luther King Memorial Library and all branches of the D.C. Public Library will go into effect June 19.

The Martin Luther King Memorial Library will be open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays and 9 a.m. to 5:40 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

The Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped will be open 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The following branch libraries will be open 1 to 9 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays and 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays: Capitol View, Chevy Chase, Fort Davis, Georgetown, Northeast, Petworth, Southwest, Tenley-Friendship, Watha T. Daniel, West End and Woodridge.

The following branches will be open 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays: Anacostia, Benning, Cleveland Park, Mount Pleasant, Palisades, Southeast, Takoma and Washington Highlands.

The Langston, R.L. Christian and Sursam Corda Community libraries as well as the Deanwood and Parklands Kiosks will be open 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays and 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.

All branch libraries will be closed on Saturdays.
