A Prince George's County grand jury indicted two men Wednesday in the slayings of an off-duty county police officer and a store employe during a holdup in Greenbelt last month.

Kamel Ali Elfadl, 20, and Kenneth James Lodowski, 22, were charged with first degree murder in the fatal shootings of Officer Carlton X. Fletcher and Minh Huong Phamdo at the Goddard Mini-Mart on June 11. They also are charged with robbery and conspiracy to murder Phamdo.

Phamdo, 20, of Seabrook, was shot during the holdup, shortly before midnight, in which $25,000 was taken. Fletcher, 31, who was not in uniform and who worked part-time at the store, was shot in the neck as he got out of his police cruiser as he arrived at the store to accompany Phamdo to the bank with a deposit. 2 Indicted in P.G.
