Arlington County police received the following crime reports from Sept. 16 through Sept. 22: Sexual Offenses
RADNOR HEIGHTS, 11:40 p.m. Sept. 20. A 27-year-old woman was raped in the laundry room of her apartment complex.
BALLSTON, 3:15 a.m. to 4:19 a.m. Sept. 18. A 22-year-old woman was awakened by a man who held a knife to her throat, covered her mouth with his hand and demanded money. He raped her, then bound her feet with cord, took $30 and fled.
LEE GARDENS, 5:20 a.m. Sept. 16. A 26-year old woman woke up and found a man on her bed. The woman's 7-year-old son heard a struggle and entered the room, but he was persuaded to leave and the man then raped the woman.
WASHINGTON BLVD. N., 3400 block. A man exposed himself to a 29-year-old woman in an elevator. The suspect drove away in a white and silver, two-door 1979 Datsun with Virginia tags.
EIGHTH RD. N., 5900 block. An 11-year-old girl was in one of the stalls of a school bathroom when a man entered and offered her money to expose herself to him. She refused and he fled. Robberies
FREDERICK ST. S., 839, 1:26 a.m. Sept. 20. Two men approached a 40-year-old man and took his bicycle. Two men, a 26 year-old D.C. man and a 22-year-old Arlington man, were subsequently arrested.
JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY. S., 1489, 11:15 p.m. Sept. 20. A 41-year-old man was approached in a hotel garage by a knife-wielding man who demanded money. The man gave him $250 and the assailant fled.
OLD JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY. S., 333, 11:08 p.m. Sept. 16. A purse was taken from a woman in a hotel game room.
PIEDMONT ST. N., 300 block, 11:53 p.m. Sept. 16. A 32-year-old woman walking toward her apartment building was approached by a man who pushed her to the ground and took her purse.
THIRD RD. N., 4100 block, 9:45 p.m. to 9:53 p.m. Sept. 19. A man armed with a handgun pushed his way in behind a 20-year-old woman who was letting herself into her apartment. He took $35 from her and told her to remove her clothes. She resisted, screamed and ran toward the front door. The man punched her in the face with his fist or his handgun and fled. Two shots were fired into the wall of the living room during the encounter. Thefts/Break-ins
COLUMBIA PIKE, 5500 block, 5 p.m. Sept. 20 to 7:20 a.m. Sept. 21. A red IBM Selectric typewriter was taken from a business.
COURT HOUSE RD., 1200 block, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 15. A gold chain necklace and gold nugget were taken from a hotel room.
EADS ST. S., 2333, 7 p.m. Sept. 15 to 9:55 a.m. Sept. 16. A business was broken into and a silkscreen machine was used. Entry was by breaking glass in the front window.
LOWELL ST. S., 2400 block, 4 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 17. A 19-inch RCA color television set, a Panasonic stereo receiver and turntable were taken from a residence. Entry was through an unlocked front door.
ROLFE ST. N., 1200 block, noon to 3:50 p.m. Sept. 17. A Sony Trinitron color television set was taken from a residence.
VERMONT ST. N., 3200 block, 8:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 20. Silverware was taken from a residence. Entry was by removing a pane of glass from a rear door.
WAYNE ST. N., 805, 1:28 a.m. Sept. 16. A woman was awakened by the buzzing sound of an electronic game in time to see a man running out her front door. He took $50 and a shoe.
NINTH RD. N., 3100 block, 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sept. 20. A 19-inch RCA color television set, a Sansui R70 stereo receiver, Sharp tape deck and a turntable were taken from a residence.
14TH ST. N., 3800 block, 5 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. Sept. 18. A wallet containing credit cards and $80 was taken from a residence. Entry was by prying a window pane out of a door in the utility room. Falls Church

BIRCH STREET, Falls Plaza Apartments, Sept. 21. A Sears 19-inch color television set, Realistic turntable/recorder cassette deck, a camera and camera lenses were taken from an apartment.
FOREST DRIVE, 300 block, Sept. 5 to Sept. 13. Jewelry and sterling silver were taken from a residence. Entry was through a balcony window.
JEFFERSON STREET E., 400 block, Sept. 15 to Sept. 16. A 1970 Chevrolet pickup was taken from in front of a residence. Fairfax County
Fairfax County police received the following crime reports from Sept. 15 through Sept. 21 in the Mason Police District and portions of the McLean District: Robbery
ARLINGTON BOULEVARD, at Monticello Drive. A man crossing the street was robbed by three men sitting in a car. One of the men in the car was armed with a revolver and forced the pedestrian to give them his wallet. The men then drove away. Thefts/Break-ins
ARLINGTON BOULEVARD, 6100 block. A portable color television set and Realistic stereo receiver were taken from an apartment. Entry was by pushing in a window screen.
ARLINGTON BOULEVARD, 6200 block. An Epson computer printer was taken from a store.
ARLINGTON BOULEVARD, 7100 block. Three rings, two Casio calculators, a watch, a bracelet, a necklace, two stereo radios and cash were taken from a residence.
CHAIN BRIDGE ROAD, 1600 block. A checkbook was taken from a business.
JOHN ADAMS COURT, 7900 block. Jewelry and cash were taken from an apartment.
JOHN MARSHALL DRIVE, 2900 block. A General Electric television set was taken from an apartment. Entry was by pushing in a window screen.
LITTLE RIVER TURNPIKE, 7400 block. Cash and credit cards were taken from a residence. Entry was through a screen door.
PATRICK HENRY DRIVE, 2900 block. A Sony television set and Realistic stereo receiver were taken from an apartment. Entry was by pushing in a window screen.
PIMMIT RUN LANE, 2200 block. A Sony color television set was taken from an apartment.
