Gaithersburg Eagle Scout

Gaithersburg resident Scott Englehart, a senior honor student at Wootton High School in Rockville, has attained the rank of Eagle Scout. He is a former Senior Patrol Leader with Scout Troop 1449 in Potomac. Englehart is a member of the varsity band and the swim team at Wootton and also is a volunteer with the Stepping Stones Shelter for homeless people in Rockville. He is the son of Richard Englehart of Germantown and Susan Englehart of Gaithersburg. Professorial Appointment

Rachel A. Dash has been named assistant professor in the West Virginia University Medical Center's Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry in Charleston. The family therapy and child abuse specialist resides in Huntington, W.Va. Dash graduated from Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School in 1973 and received undergraduate and masters degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Maryland in Baltimore. She is the daughter of Sara and Sam Dash of Newlands Street in Chevy Chase. Photographer Honored

Gaithersburg portrait artist and photographer Jill A. Bochicchio- Ausura received several awards for her work at the recent Maryland Professional Photographers' Association annual awards ceremony. Bochicchio-Ausura was named 1985 Creative Photographer of the Year and received the 1985 Most Creative Photograph of the Year award and 1985 Hartig Memorial Award for Creative Photography. She lives in Gaithersburg.
