BALTIMORE PIKE, 11592 -- Granted a request by Ellsworth W. Messersmith to build a house on a lot containing 4,828 square feet instead of the 5,000-square-foot minimum lot size required.

CORDWALL DR., 11500 -- Granted a request by Charles W. and Evelyn S. Matthews to validate an existing house eight feet from the rear property line instead of 20 feet as required, and to enclose an existing rear porch.

EVANS TRAIL WAY, 3770 -- Granted a request by Hugh D. and Patricia Sisler to build a sun deck on the rear of a town house, leaving less than the required amount of open space.

BOWIE

RACE TRACK AND ANNAPOLIS ROADS -- Granted a request by M. Leo Storch for the Hilltop Shopping Center to validate the existing shopping center and parking lot four feet from the Race Track Road property line and 1 1/2 feet from the Annapolis Road property line instead of 10 feet from each property line as required; and adjacent to the rear property line instead of 25 feet from the line as required. Storch also was granted a variance to allow 452 parking spaces instead of 148 spaces as allowed by zoning regulations, provided he meet the zoning board's landscaping and screening requirements.

RUSTIC PLACE, 12303 -- Granted a request by Martin H. Cronlund Jr. to enclose a patio 16 feet from the rear property line instead of 20 feet as required.

63RD AVE., 3401 -- Granted a request by Valerie Jones-English and C.E. English to validate an existing house 21 1/2 feet from a side property line instead of 25 feet as required, and to build a fence around the house and a sun deck on the rear of the house.
