The following were among actions taken at the Monday meeting of the Arlington Board of Zoning Appeals. For more information, call 558-2414.

FREDERICK ST. N., 513 -- Granted a request by the Vogelman family to build an addition to a residence 20 feet from the front property line instead of 25 feet as required. The applicants also asked to build an addition nine feet from the rear property line instead of 25 feet as required. The board determined that addition could stand 10 feet from the line.

LANGLEY ST. S., 1918 -- Granted the request of Robert Green, Dottie Green and Mildred Jones to build a second-story addition to a residence 13 feet from the front property line instead of 25 feet as required, six feet from a side property line instead of eight feet as required and 22 feet from the rear property line instead of 25 feet as required.

LITTLE FALLS RD., 6717 -- Denied the request of the Flowers family to allow an addition to a residence to encroach 11 1/2 feet into a 15-foot-yard required between a house and an accessory building.

MONROE ST. S., 714 -- Granted the request of the Arlington Baptist Church to build a handicapped access ramp 5 1/2 feet from a side property line instead of 25 feet as required.

10TH ST. S., 1641 -- Granted the request of Thang Van Bui to build a deck onto a residence closer to the front property line than 25 feet as required. The applicant asked to build the deck 17 feet from the line; the board determined the structure could stand 19 feet from the line.

11TH ST. S., 5004 -- Granted the request of Qui Van Pham and Helen M. Cao to build an addition to a residence 21 1/2 feet from the front property line instead of 25 feet as required.

25TH PLACE N., 5134 -- Granted the request of the Holman family to build an addition to a residence 15 feet from a side property line instead of 25 feet as required. However the board denied the applicants' request to build an addition 22 feet from the front property line instead of 25 feet as required.

27TH ST. N., 5072 -- Granted the request of the Miller family to allow a rear addition to a residence to encroach six feet into a 15-foot-yard required between a house and an accessory building.
