Four men, including a bystander, were shot last night during a parking-lot quarrel at a McDonald's restaurant in Landover, Prince George's County police said.

The shooting occurred shortly after 8 p.m. at the McDonald's on 8710 Central Avenue, when three men, departing from the restaurant, stood in the parking lot while one of them, an unidentified 17-year-old Forestville youth, struck up a conversation with a McDonald's employe, police said.

During the course of the conversation, three men reportedly drove through the parking lot in a dark blue car. According to police, the operator of the vehicle leaned out of the driver's window, demanding that the youth get out of the way. The youth replied, "Who do you think you're yelling at?"

The suspects then left the car and challenged the three men to a fight. During the argument, one of the suspects left the scene, returning minutes later with a pistol. The driver of the car instructed the armed suspect to "burn them," police said, and the suspect began to shoot at the victims.

Wayne Boone, 18, of 5424 54th St. in Riverdale, described as a bystander in the parking lot, was shot in the lower abdominal area. The Forestville youth sustained a gunshot wound to his left hip. Pierre Edwards, 20, of 1302 Inland Dr. in Forestville, was shot once in his left arm and twice in his lower left leg. Rodney Patrick Allen, 22, of 3302 Geaton Dr. in Upper Marlboro, was shot once in his left forearm.

The four victims were admitted to Prince George's County General Hospital, where they were listed in stable condition.

Police searched the surrounding area but did not find the suspects.
