Jail Volunteers Sought The Bureau of Rehabilitation Inc. is seeking volunteers 21 years old and older to counsel inmates in the Prince George's County Correctional Center in Upper Marlboro as they prepare to move back into the community.

"Basically our thrust of services is to provide reintegration," said program supervisor Paul Bliss.

"Some of the inmates have been in the center one or two years and they may not know if their families will accept them back in."

Bliss said volunteers will help to get transportation, clothes and jobs for released inmates.

The pre-release program runs in eight-week cycles and volunteers will be asked to make a minimum commitment of two hours per week. For more information, call Paul Bliss at 459-5525 or Lisa Moxley at 952-7076.
