MILLWOOOD RD., 6516 -- Granted a variance request by Stanley Burrous to build a two-car garage by expanding the existing carport. The new garage will be 11.7 feet from the front property line instead of the minimum 30 feet required.

RADNOR RD., 7911 -- Granted a variance request by Laurence Bachorik and Gail Povar to allow a house addition under construction to remain 22 feet from the rear property line instead of the minimum 25 feet required.

GAITHERSBURG

HAWKINS CREAMERY RD., 7421 -- Granted a variance request by Dr. and Mrs. Lewis Kellert to build a swimming pool in the front yard of a residence instead of in the rear yard as required.

MINERAL SPRINGS DR., 7821 -- Granted a special exception request by Dominic M. Palmer to operate a separate apartment within a private residence.

WARFIELD RD., 9218 -- Granted a special exception by Frank A. Vitaliti to operate a separate apartment within a private residence.

ROCKVILLE

CUSHMAN DR., 11408 -- Granted a variance request by Murray and Sylvia Friedman to add a sun room to a house 23 feet from a street line instead of the minimum 25 feet required.

FOUNDERS MILL DR., 17348 -- Granted a variance request by Mr. and Mrs. Eli J. Levine to allow a swimming pool under construction to remain in the front and side yards of a residence instead of entirely in the rear yard as required.

POINDEXTER LA., 6200 -- Granted a special exception request by Carole and Carl Harshbarger to operate a computer programming and time-sharing business out of a residence.

POWDER HOUSE DR., 4830 -- Granted a variance request by Mary and William Phillips to convert a one-car garage to a two-car garage seven feet from a side property line instead of the minimum 12 feet required.
