BETHESDA

CHESHIRE DR., 5909 -- Granted variance requests by Otto Wildensteiner to build a carport seven feet from a side property line instead of the minimum 10 feet required and to leave a total of 19.3 feet of open space in both side yards instead of the minimum 21 feet required.

EDGELEY RD., 9501 -- Granted a variance request by James A. Rogers to enclose a porch that does not conform to current zoning regulations because of its location on the lot. Any addition to such a structure requires a variance.

OLD GEORGETOWN RD., 9414 -- Granted a special exception request by Dr. Fred R.T. and Carlene C. Nelson to operate a medical office in a residential zone.

PARK AVE., 4816 -- Granted a variance request by Marc and Grazina Narkus-Kramer to build an addition onto a house 19.1 feet from the front property line instead of the minimum 25 feet required.

SPRUCE TREE AVE., 5612 -- Granted a special exception request by Dr. Paul Peebles to operate a medical office in a residential zone.

HILLANDALE

GREEN FOREST DR., 10211 -- Granted a special exception request by Stephen G. Koback to operate a lawn maintenance and landscaping business out of a residence in a residential zone.

OLNEY

JOHN CARROLL DR., 3709 -- Granted a variance request by Mr. and Mrs. Aric L. Rudden to convert a garage into a family room and to build a two-car garage seven feet from a side property line instead of the minimum 12 feet from the line as required.

VANDEVER ST., 3213 -- Granted a variance request by Robert J. and Kathleen Leonard to build a garage 6.7 feet from a side property line instead of the minimum 10 feet required.

POTOMAC

DEVILWOOD DR., 11738 -- Granted a variance request by John H. Farrell to build a two-car garage onto a house 10 feet from a side property line instead of the minimum 25 feet required.

ROCKVILLE

CASTAWAY DR., 14017 -- Granted a variance request by Toby and Charles Brown to build an addition onto a house that will leave a total of 23 feet of open space in both side yards instead of the minimum 25 feet required.
