RHODE ISLAND AVE., 3730 -- Granted a request by Chevron U.S.A. Inc. to validate an existing gas station with a driveway 11 feet from the curb instead of at least 20 feet away; a sidewalk four feet wide instead of at least five feet wide; a pump island 21 feet from the front property line instead of at least 25 feet and a six-foot long landscape strip instead of at least 10 feet as required. MELBOURNE PLACE, 1 -- Granted a request by IPDS, Ltd./Hank's Barbeque Pit to build a restaurant with a 22-foot landscape strip along the rear property line instead of at least 25 feet as required. HYATTSVILLE

LEWISDALE DR., 2018 -- Denied a request by Ross A. and Betty Jean May to validate an existing carport adjacent to a side yard line instead of at least eight feet from the line as required. The board ordered that the carport be taken down. LANDOVER

PENNSY DR., 3500 -- Granted a request by Hechinger Enterprises to validate an existing warehouse building 32 1/2 feet high instead of at least 34 feet high as required.

WILLOW HILL ROAD, LOT 1, BETWEEN NALLEY ROAD AND HILL ROAD -- Granted a request by Largo Knolls Joint Venture to construct a house 58 feet from a front property line instead of at least 75 feet as required.

WILLOW HILL ROAD, LOT 2, BETWEEN NALLEY ROAD AND HILL ROAD -- Granted a request by Largo Knolls Joint Venture to construct a house 54 feet from a front property line instead of at least 75 feet as required.
