Ham Radio Group to Hold Show At Fairgrounds in Manassas

The Ole Virginia Hams Amateur Radio Club will hold its 16th annual Ham Radio and Computer Show from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Prince William County Fairgrounds in Manassas.

The show will feature emergency and supplemental communications techniques and give ham radio operators an opportunity to learn about advanced communication and computer technology. General admission is $5, and parking for tailgating is $5 per space in addition to the admission fee. The gates open at 7 a.m. Call 361-5255. Antietam PTA Plans Elections

The election of PTA officers for the 1990-91 school year at Antietam Elementary School will be held at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow at Lake Ridge Elementary School. Historic Manassas will sponsor an Auto Show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 9 in Old Town. The show will include Model T's, Model A's, Packards and other classic cars. Admission is free. For more information, call 361-6599. Last Day for School Year Set

Local school systems will be closing for the school year in a few weeks. The last day for Manassas and Prince William County schools is June 14. Manassas Park schools will close on June 21.
