Animal Shelter Hosts Vaccination Clinic

The Elizabeth Foster Fund for Animals will sponsor a rabies clinic from 11 a.m to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Loudoun County Animal Shelter at Routes 9 and 704. The cost is $4 per vaccination. Dogs must be on a leash. Cats must be confined in a box or cage or be wrapped in a pillowcase. All animals must be at least 3 months old. License tags for dogs will be on sale at the clinic. It's graduation time again. About 950 Loudoun high school seniors will graduate at 7 p.m. Saturday. Loudoun Valley High School, with 215 graduates, will hold its ceremonies at the school stadium in Purcellville. William Reilly, administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, will be the speaker. Loudoun County High School's 230 seniors will graduate on the front lawn of the Leesburg school and will be addressed by Del. Linda Rollins (R-Loudoun). Broad Run High School will hold commencement for its 206 seniors at the school stadium in Ashburn. Elizabeth Colton, executive editor of the Loudoun Times-Mirror, will be the speaker. And Park View High School, which graduates 300 this year, will hold commencement in the Sterling school's main gymnasium. Bob Ryan, meteorologist at WRC-TV (Channel 4), will speak. Strawberry Picking Time

The Home Instruction Support Group, for parents who choose to teach their children at home, will hold its annual convention Saturday at the Christian Fellowship Church, 10237 Leesburg Pike, Vienna.
