Pa. Singing Group Opens, Bluemont Concert Series
The Bluemont Concert Series will open its 1990 Sunday Courthouse concert season with a performance by Big Nite Out, a Philadelphia group featuring three female vocalists. The concert, at 7 p.m. Sunday on the lawn of the Loudoun County Courthouse in Leesburg, is the first of nine scheduled this summer. In case of bad weather, concerts will be held at Loudoun County High School and the decision will be broadcast over local radio station WAGE after 5 p.m. A $2 donation is requested at all concerts. Sky Meadows State Park Events

'Celebrity Waiter Dinner' Planned
Loudoun County's third annual "Celebrity Waiter Dinner," to benefit the Loudoun chapter of the American Heart Association, is at 6 p.m. tomorrow at the Dulles Marriott. Diners will be served by local politicians, school and county officials, doctors and businesspeople. Waiters will donate their tips to the heart association. Waterford Art, Antiques Auction
The Waterford Foundation will hold its annual art and antiques auction at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Old School in Waterford. Proceeds will go toward restoring and refurbishing the school, which the foundation hopes to use for a national center for heritage education. Preservation Society Awards
The Preservation Society of Loudoun County will sponsor its sixth annual awards program at a lawn party from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Shelburne Glebe, an 18th-century estate near Lincoln.
