The Prince William County Social Services Department is seeking volunteers for temporary assignments in several areas, including its Child Abuse and Neglect Unit, Foster Care Program, Employment Training and Child Care Unit. Historic Prince William will hold its June meeting for members and guests at 6:30 tonight, beginning with a picnic on the grounds of Bel Air Plantation in Dale City. The Department of Corrections' Domestic Violence Task Force will hold a panel discussion from 9:30 to 11 a.m. June 29 at the Manassas City Hall on domestic violence in Prince William and the involvement of the courts, police and county agencies. The Membership Committee of the Friends of the Manassas Museum will sponsor a Strawberry Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Osbourn High School.
