Limited Bus Service Provided For Summer School Students
Prince William County schools will provide limited bus service for summer school students in elementary and middle school programs.
Classes will be held from 9 a.m. to noon July 9 through Aug. 3 at Rippon Elementary and Middle schools in Woodbridge and Parkside Elementary and Middle schools in Manassas.
The high school summer programs will be held at Woodbridge High in Lake Ridge and Osbourn Park in Manassas July 9 through July 30 for the first three-week session and July 30 through Aug. 17 for the second three-week session. Bus service to Osbourn Park will depart Stonewall Jackson High at 6:20 a.m.
Students from the western end of the county attending classes offered at Woodbridge will have a shuttle bus available to them leaving Osbourn Park at 6:45 a.m. and arriving at Woodbridge at 7:25 a.m. No other transportation to Woodbridge High is planned.

Stop Smoking Clinic Offered
Prince William Hospital in Manassas will sponsor a four-session Stop Smoking Clinic from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, July 16, 18 and 23.
The clinic, conducted by the American Lung Association of Northern Virginia, will offer films and techniques in relaxation-training.
Each session will teach smokers how to form the best approach to kick the habit, and will be staffed by a health educator as well as several American Lung Association of Northern Virginia volunteers.
The cost of the clinic is $35 per session, and pre-registration is required. Call 369-8476.
Alliance for the Mentally Ill to Meet
The Potomac Alliance for the Mentally Ill will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Woodbridge.
The alliance, an advocacy group for the mentally ill, is composed of mental health patients and their friends and family. Call 494-6806 or 494-6536 for information.
Gar-Field Class of '85 Plans Reunion
Gar-Field High School's Class of 1985 is planning its five-year reunion, which will be held from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 4 at Veteran's Memorial Park in Woodbridge.

Shenandoah Rafting Expedition
The Prince William County Park Authority will sponsor a rafting expedition along the Shenandoah River on Wednesday.
Participants in the trip, guided by Blue Ridge Outfitters, will leave George Hellwig Memorial Park in Woodbridge at 7:30 a.m. and return at 5:30 p.m.
The $48 fee includes transportation, lunch and rafting equipment.
