Present a certificate of appreciation to Milt Grossman for his community service, including efforts to refill a large construction hole left by a developer on Wisconsin Avenue and Hall Place NW.

Discuss a request for a bus shelter at the southeast corner of Reservoir Road and 44th Place NW.

Hear a presentation by the D.C. Housing Finance Agency on homeowner loan services available to the public.


ANC 3G will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Chevy Chase Community Center, Connecticut Avenue and McKinley Street NW, to do the following:

Discuss a zoning request by Knollwood retirement home, 3240 Oregon Ave. NW, to build a 40-unit addition to the retirement home for military spouses. The ANC also will vote on a proposed covenant between the home and neighbors that would limit future development.

Discuss a zoning request by James A. and Llewellyn Bensfield to build an addition to a house at 3745 Huntington St. NW.

Discuss whether to support an appeal by Hugh J. Beins, 3812 Kanawha St. NW, concerning a rear addition constructed behind his house at 3813 Jocelyn St. NW in 1984.

Hear a briefing on the Alcohol and Beverage Control Board's Aug. 22 ruling to allow restaurateur Jeffrey Gildenhorn to serve beer and wine to up to 20 patrons at his new Fishery restaurant, 5505 Connecticut Ave. NW.
