The Prince William Cooperative Extension Service is recruiting volunteers to enroll in its Personal Finance Program training session from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 29 and Oct. 13 at the McCoart Building. Church to Hold Bazaar
Cokesbury United Methodist Church will hold its fifth Annual Bazaar/Arts & Crafts Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church. A Christmas and thrift shop will be available as well as food, drinks and face painting for children. Call 494-5400 for details.
Annual 'Haymarket Day'
The Gainesville Ruritan Club, with the cooperation of the Haymarket Town Council, will hold its second annual "Haymarket Day" from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, rain or shine. A parade, including marching bands, majorette teams and mounted units, and more than 45 craft booths, food booths and live entertainment will be featured throughout the town. Proceeds will be donated to civic organizations. After Haymarket Day, the Town Council also will sponsor a dance with live music from 6 to 10 p.m. Admission is $3 a person or $5 a couple. Art Guild Meeting Set
The Woodbridge Art Guild has scheduled its first regular membership meeting after summer break for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Dale City Civic Center. Raymond Bell, a pastel artist, will be the guest speaker and will explain some techniques used in working with pastels. Pediatric CPR Class
Prince William Hospital will offer a pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation class from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Saturday, Oct. 6 and Nov. 3. The cost is $18 a person or $25 a couple. The eight-hour session leads to American Heart Association certification in pediatric basic life support.
