A 15-year-old Suitland girl and a 22-year-old Capitol Heights man were shot and fatally wounded in separate incidents on Tuesday, Prince George's County police said yesterday.

Latonya Darnea Grady, of the 2500 block of Darel Drive, was shot once in the face at close range about 10:45 p.m. Tuesday during an argument with a friend in her home, police said.

She died at Children's Hospital about three hours later, police said.

Police arrested Antwoine Riccardo Thomas, 17, at his home in the 4400 block of Arnold Road, Suitland, yesterday and charged him as an adult with first-degree murder in Grady's death.

In the other incident, Calvin Dwayne Proctor, 22, of the 5000 block of Lee Jay Court in Capitol Heights, was fatally wounded during an apparent robbery shortly before midnight at the Capitol Heights Metro station, police said.

Proctor was using a public telephone at the station when he was approached by two men who demanded money, police said.

As the men, who took Proctor's money, were driving away, they turned and fired several shots from the window of their small blue car, striking Proctor in the chest, police said.
