Woodbridge Rotarians Raffling '65 Mustang
The Woodbridge Rotary Club will celebrate its 25th anniversary by raffling a reconditioned 1965 candy-apple red Ford Mustang. The drawing will be held at 9 p.m. Nov. 25 at Potomac Mills mall near the Santa display. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at Potomac Mills or from any of the 40 members of the Woodbridge Rotary Club. Proceeds from the raffle are channeled back into the community to benefit senior citizens and such organizations as the Scouts and the Boys and Girls Clubs, and to provide scholarships.
Bethel United Methodist Church on Davis Ford Road is holding its 13th annual bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. An assortment of crafts, baked goods and entertainment for children will be featured.
Air Conditioning Class
The National Capitol Chapter of the American Society of Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineers will present a three-hour seminar beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday in Room 303B in the main building at Northern Virginia Community College, Woodbridge campus. The class is designed to introduce students entering the air conditioning industry to the jobs of preparing construction cost estimates, evaluating labor requirements, determining crew and job site costs and developing unit pricing. Lake Ridge Craft Sale
The Lake Ridge Fellowship residents will present a yard, bake and craft sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the social hall at the Fellowship building. A handmade afghan will be raffled and, weather permitting, craft tables will be set up on the outdoor patio. The sale is sponsored by resident members of the Activity Committee.
The Prince William Area Agency on Aging is sponsoring bus tours this month to the Botanic Garden, the Supreme Court and Georgetown and a three-day, two-night trip to Salisbury, Md., to visit the North American Wildfowl Art Museum. The costs of the trips vary. For information, call 335-6402.
