'The Nutcracker'

The Loudoun Ballet Company will perform "The Nutcracker" at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday in the auditorium at Loudoun County High School. The Sterling Jaycees will sell Christmas trees beginning Saturday at the Sterling Plaza Shopping Center. Sale hours will be 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. weekends through Dec. 23. Trees will cost $26.

Photos Taken With Santa

Loudoun County Girl Scout troops will sell pictures with Santa Claus the next three Saturdays in Leesburg. The scouts will be at work from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Virginia Village Shopping Center and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Market Station. Gypsy Moth Information

If you have anything to say about fighting gypsy moths, Loudoun County wants to hear it. The county will sponsor an open house Tuesday to hear comments and give information about aerial spraying to kill gypsy moths.
