Church Expansion Finished

Maple Springs Baptist Church has finished a church expansion project. The new sanctuary seats nearly 1,000 people; the new fellowship hall about 450. The expansion project, which began in April 1998, also includes a new nursery and a new office and library for the pastor. Future renovations will include turning the old sanctuary into classrooms and building a new kitchen and the new site for the Maple Springs Baptist College and Seminary. In all, the project will cost more than $4 million.

Fourth of July Celebration

Our Savior Lutheran Church will celebrate the nation's birthday during three worship services Sunday. Traditional hymns will be sung at the 8:15 and 11 a.m. services; contemporary songs at the 9:45 a.m. service. Red, white and blue attire is encouraged but not mandatory.
