VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Washington Street United Methodist Church in Alexandria will hold a vacation Bible school for five consecutive Fridays starting tomorrow from 9:30 a.m. to noon. The school will feature games, arts and crafts and music for children 2 1/2 to 12 years old.

BOOK SALE

The Episcopal churches of Arlington will sponsor a book sale Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The sale will be at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Lorcom Lane and Military Road, Arlington. For further details, call the church office at 703-533-1539.

THE GREAT BIBLELAND DIG

Falls Church Presbyterian Church will present three evenings of dinner, games, music and classes for all ages from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. July 18-20. The event also will include "Jerusalem 3000" by the Lion Tales Puppet Theater. The cost is $10 a person, free for children younger than 10.

CHOIR CONCERT

Blessed Sacrament Catholic Community in Alexandria will host Les Petits Chanteurs du Comte de Flandre French Boys Choir in concert July 19 at 8 p.m. The free concert will be under the direction of Regis DeCool.
