HIGHLAND CONCERT

Mount Zion United Methodist Church in Highland will host a concert by the Celebration band during the church's 9:30 a.m. worship service Sunday. The group includes performers who are Christian music majors from Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, Calif.

MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER

Columbia Church of Religious Science in Columbia will host motivational speaker David Ault at 10 a.m. Sunday. In addition to singing in concert, Ault will conduct a workshop called "The Persistence of Self-Love."

WESTMINSTER PICNIC FESTIVAL

Trinity Lutheran Church in Westminster will hold its 123rd annual Dutch Picnic Festival from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 7. The festival will feature arts and crafts, a silent auction, an antique auto show, a petting zoo, a Revolutionary War reenactment by the 6th Maryland Regiment of 1777 Inc. and live music by the Gettysburg Brassworks and the Edelweiss Band. An all-you-can-eat fried chicken and ham meal will begin at 1 p.m., costing $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 6 to 12. The meal is free for children age 5 and younger.
