NEW LOCATION

The Joshua Group Ministries, a three-year-old interdenominational church, is now holding worship services at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's building in Silver Spring. Sunday morning worship services will take place in the building's 400-seat auditorium, classroom and conference center. The congregation previously met at East Silver Spring Elementary.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP CONCERT

Fresh Start Music Ministries will present a special evening of praise and worship music on Friday, featuring Nashville recording artist and worship leader Mark Stephan Hughes. Admission is free; dress is casual. Fresh Start Music may be sampled on the Internet at http://www.cmcnet.org/a_2726.html.

PIANO CONCERT

Pianist Thomas Pandolfi returns to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Gaithersburg for the ninth consecutive year on Saturday. His performance will feature selections from the music of Liszt, Chopin, Debussy and Lecuona. The concert will begin at 8 p.m. A free-will donation will be collected to help cover expenses.

HYMN SING, ICE CREAM SOCIAL

Trinity Presbyterian Church in Bethesda will hold an old-fashioned hymn sing at the close of the 10 a.m. worship service on Sunday. An ice cream social in the church parlor will follow. Visitors are welcome.

JEWS FOR JESUS LECTURE

Lynn McCoy, an evangelist with the Jews for Jesus Washington branch, will speak at First Baptist Church in Rockville at 5:30 p.m. Sunday. She will discuss her personal journey to Christ as a Jewish person.

Jews for Jesus is an organization that proclaims that Jesus is the Messiah of Israel and savior of the world. The church is at 55 Adclare Rd. For more information, call 301-279-2400.

GOSPEL CONCERT

Singer-songwriter Dallas Holm will be in concert at Montrose Baptist Church in Rockville at 6 p.m. Sunday. The gospel concert is free, but attendees are asked to bring a can of food for the needy. The canned goods will be donated to Shepherd's Table, a nonprofit organization in Silver Spring.
