SCHOOL BOARD CANDIDATE FORUMS

The Fairfax County School Board Election Coalition, an organization of community groups, will hold a series of forums this fall for candidates for seats on the 12-member School Board. On Nov. 2, voters will elect three at-large candidates and one candidate from each district.

The forums will be held Sept. 21-Oct. 28. All forums begin at 7 p.m. and are open to the public. They are scheduled as follows:

Braddock District: Tuesday, Sept. 21, Robinson Secondary School. Candidates: Ilryong Moon and Judith T. "Tessie" Wilson.

Mount Vernon District: Wednesday, Sept. 22, Sandburg Middle School. Candidates: Sharon Baroncelli and Isis Castro.

Hunter Mill District: Tuesday, Sept. 28, South Lakes High School. Candidates: Stuart D. Gibson and Thomas A. Wilkins.

Sully District: Wednesday, Sept. 29, Centreville High School. Candidate: Incumbent Gary A. Reese is unopposed.
