NEW PASTORS

The Rev. George Ennis has been named senior pastor at Hughes Memorial Methodist Church, and the Rev. Hattie Johnson-Holmes was selected as associate pastor.

Ennis is a former pastor at Severna Park United Methodist Church in Severna Park. Johnson-Holmes is a former associate pastor at New Life United Methodist Church in Baltimore.

CHRISTIAN MUSIC NETWORKING

The Washington Area Worship Leaders Association will meet from 7:30 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Kensington. The meeting will include new songs, teaching, prayer and fellowship.

The association, sponsored by Fresh Start Music Ministries, brings together Christian worship leaders, worship teams, musicians, songwriters, pastors and anyone else involved or interested in praise and worship music.

JEWISH HOLIDAY LECTURE

The Jewish Community Center of Greater Washington will present a lecture, "Making Sense of Rosh Hashanah and the Fall Jewish Holidays," on Wednesday in Rockville. The lecture begins at 8 p.m. The cost is $21. The registration deadline is Tuesday.
