Medical Building Nearly Finished

Construction of the new Century Medical Building on the campus of Potomac Hospital is almost completed.

The 80,000-square-foot structure, at 2300 Opitz Blvd. in Woodbridge, is scheduled to open in the spring. The three-story brick building will be used for doctors' offices and outpatient medical services, such as physical therapy and rehabilitation, which are now located at a site away from the hospital.

Transportation Talks

The Prince William County-Greater Manassas Chamber of Commerce is hosting two events addressing "Transportation: Where We Are Today, Where We Will Be Tomorrow."

The first in the two-part series will be a luncheon Tuesday at the Battlefield Inn-Best Western, 10820 Balls Ford Rd., Manassas. The event will start at 11:30 a.m. and will feature speakers focusing on area transportation issues. It is sponsored by the George Mason University Prince William campus.

The second event will be a breakfast Oct. 21 at the Battlefield Inn-Best Western, sponsored by Vettra Co. The event will start at 7:30 a.m. and will feature speakers focusing on the future of regional transportation.

Each program costs $17 for members and $22 for nonmembers in advance, and $19 and $25 at the door, respectively.

The Prince William Regional Chamber of Commerce is holding a Business Before Hours Network Connection from 8 to 9 a.m. tomorrow at the chamber office, 4320 Ridgewood Center.

Opening a Dialogue

The Prince William Regional Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Dialogue 2000Plus from noon to 2 p.m. Sept. 29.

The event will be held at the Montclair Golf, Tennis & Swim Club, 16500 Edgewood Dr. in Dumfries. It will touch on transportation, work force development and health-care issues.
